How to sign-up (this tutorial is from our spring 2024 event, but the process is the same for the upcoming event):

If you watch the video under the “How do I sign up?” FAQ it will walk you through the sign-up process. When you register yourself, you’ll have the option to add additional participants to your registration. As long as you have the information of each person that you want on your team, you can register each participant. When it gets to the step for choosing a team, create a team name for your group or join an existing one if one has already been made. The other option is to complete your individual sign up, then send the sign-up link to your group and instruct them on what team name to search for to sign-up under when they get to that step.

At kick-off your team will be provided with:

  • a route assignment with map
  • trash bags
  • gloves
  • safety vests
  • trash picker uppers
  • first aid kit
  • a sharps container
  • bottled water & coffee
  • breakfast (available at check-in)
  • lunch (available after route is completed – return to kick-off)
  • Get your wardrobe ready! We recommend wearing full length pants, tennis shoes or rubber boots, a hat and of course sunscreen.
  • Be prepared to work on routes that may have ditches, slopes, tall grass, or are near the road.
  • Some families opt to bring a wagon to roll along the route to help carry supplies or tired kiddos.
  • Camel backs are recommended to keep hydrated as you walk your route.
  • We will have trash picker uppers and gloves for everyone at kick-off but if you prefer to bring your own, please do.
